Judith Hess operates Jude Hess Fine Arts, where since 2014 she has offered consultation to clients in matters related to the purchase, sale, and collecting of fine art. In doing so, she draws on two decades of experience developing and managing her own private contemporary art collection. Judith Hess recently opened the US entity of her business, which already maintains a location in England.
Along with her background with her own collection, Ms. Hess comes to her current role having served as international director for business development at Christie’s. During her tenure with the auction house, she assisted high-net-worth individuals around the world with curating their collections, which included works of impressionism, modern art, contemporary art, and other movements and disciplines. Prior to her position at Christie’s, she performed as a contemporary art specialist and director of private clients at Phillips.
In preparation for her career, Jude Hess completed her studies in the US, starting with Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. Later transferring to New York University, she earned placement on the dean’s list and graduated with a bachelor of science, majoring in finance and in international business from the NYU Stern School of Business.
